The Lawrenceville School is set to launch a community theater group for adults.
The school’s director of performing arts, Chris Cull, is set to oversee the group, called The Village Players. Discussions, rehearsals and performances will be held in the school’s theatre facilities.
Potential members are welcome to join at any time. No experience is necessary to join the group, just an interest in and enthusiasm for any aspect of theatre.
The first meeting of the Village Players is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 9 in the school’s Kirby Arts Center Lounge, 2500 Main St., Lawrenceville. Interested members should RSVP to villageplayers@lawrenceville.org.
Founded in 1810, The Lawrenceville School offers a comprehensive, coeducational program for 819 students in grades nine through post-graduate, who come from 34 states and 38 countries. The School is located on 700 acres in the historic village of Lawrenceville, N.J.
