Mercer County Library System is set to offer access to movies, television shows, audio books and music through a partnership with hoopla.
Hoopla is service that partners with libraries to offer card holders access to content on their mobile device, tablet or web browser free of charge.
MCLS card holders can download the hoopla mobile app on their Android or IOS device, or visit hoopladigital.com to access titles from major Hollywood studios and record labels, available to borrow for instant streaming on their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.
Mercer County executive said library staff is always exploring ways to satisfy the community’s informational, recreational and cultural needs.
“By partnering with hoopla, we are able to provide Mercer County Library System patrons with the means to stay connected to the Library on the go,” Hughes said in a statement.
Patrons only need their library card to get started. There is no waiting period for popular titles and the service’s automatic-return means no late fees.
