KNOCK, KNOCK? Whatever happened to parental and taxpayer input in driving consideration of any given subject? You never let taxpayers decide in a referendum about your new expensive Board office.
It took the WW-P Board of Education five years to name a baseball field according to its OWN policy! And President Tony Fleres and Vice President Richard Kaye STILL didn’t support their own delays!
If Fleres wants to personally fund the $164 million himself, by all means he can call the tune and what topics make the agenda.
If Fleres is NOT funding the budget, he needs to grow up and step out of a leadership (sic) role. One can always spot the guys who know little about marketing or sales. Or operations. They don’t LISTEN.
SECOND HINT? The WW-P budget should be largely completed by July 2 of any given year, since the current fiscal year ends on June 30. Assistant Superintendent Larry Shanok takes last year’s budget, globally adds up to 2 percent, and voila — you now have the new budget! Voters have NO say in how their money is spent.
THIRD: What do these administrators do for the remainder of the year other than work toward their own retirement and piggy-back/mirror what wage and benefit increases the unions negotiate?
