While I agree that the recent ballot was confusing, I know that in order to cast a vote in America there are rules governing the placement of candidates names. The rules are different for non-partisan elections and partisan elections. Only citizens are permitted to vote, and they must be able to write and read English.
Every registered voter was sent a copy of a sample ballot. I read my ballot and noted where the people and questions for whom I wished to cast my vote were located. Every one else had the same information as I. If they chose to not read the sample ballot the only person to blame was the voter. The election was legal and the results final. Putting the blame any place but where it belongs, on the voter, is sour grapes. Next time read your sample ballot and be sure to cast the correct vote for your opinion.
