The Community Forum is so often the repository of carping, whining complaints about West Windsor, I thought it might be refreshing to voice sincere gratitude and appreciation for a job well done. Some days ago, reading about the need for awareness of mosquito breeding grounds, what with the Zika virus scare, my wife and I thought it wise to inform the township of a sinkhole that has existed for years across from the municipal tennis courts on Hendrickson Drive and retains standing water almost year-round.
Accordingly I contacted the township and within 72 hours the cavity was filled with sod and the problem removed, before all those summer tennis players are exposed to insect bites. We were most impressed by this efficiency. Thanks and kudos to Lisa Bruzzo of Health and Human Services and to the Public Works Department for such quick and effective action.
