The Farnsworth Gallery is set to host the second Annual Paint the Town Plein Air Art Show and Sale June 7 through 9.

The gallery is set to partner with the Bordentown City Green Team to bring Paint the Town to the fourth annual Green Fair scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 8 at Carlslake Community Center, 207 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown.

Artists with expertise in various mediums including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and collage were invited to paint en plein air -outdoors- at the art show.

The three-day event will climax 2 to 5 p.m. on June 9 with a “wet paint” show and sale at the intersection of Farnsworth and Rail Road Avenues, alongside the Farnsworth House restaurant.

At the close of the show and sale, a reception is scheduled for the gallery, during which artists are set to be available to share and discuss their work with visitors and buyers.

Through the Green Fair, the Bordentown City Green Team and Environmental Commission offer public information concerning environmental issues.

The fair features eco-friendly exhibits and vendors, including electric cars, children’s activities, live music, animals, food and walking tours.

The City of Bordentown holds a Bronze Level Certificate in the Sustainable Jersey program for municipalities that want to go green, save money and take steps to sustain their quality of life over the long term.

The Farnsworth Gallery is located at 134 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown.
