Third Annual Mercer County Turkey Trot raises over $30,000

On Thursday, November 26, 2015, over 800 people started their Thanksgiving Day by participating in the Third Annual Mercer County Turkey Trot held at Mercer County Park on 334 South Post Road in West Windsor. The morning event consisted of a 5K Race and a 1 Mile Walk/Run.

Proceeds from the event benefitted local food pantries, including Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) Kosher Food Pantry, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), Catholic Charities, RISE and the Red Cross.

The event raised over $30,000 and filled several carloads of donated food for local food pantries.
