Lawrence Township to host flu shot clinics

The Lawrence Township Health Department is set to host four flu shot clinics.

The first two clinics are set to take place at the Lawrence Senior Center, 30 East Darrah Lane. The first clinic is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Oct. 29; next is 1:30 to 3 p.m. Oct. 31.

The next two clinics are set to take place at the Lawrence Township Municipal building, 2207 Lawrence Road. These clinics are scheduled for 2:30 to 4 p.m Nov. 7 and 4:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 14

Clinics are for Lawrence Township residents; in order to receive a flu vaccine individuals must show proof of residency.

There is a charge of $15.00 with the exception of residents over the age 60 and residents with a chronic illness. To be exempt from the fee, individuals must show proof of age or have a prescription from their physician for a flu shot.

Medicare recipients must bring Medicare card to clinics.
