Egyptian cultural event set for Lawrence library

Local resident Hala Mahmoud coordinated an exhibition of ancient and contemporary Egyptian art at the Lawrence library.

The exhibition is scheduled to be on display throughout the month of January in the library’s East Lobby Gallery.

A special reception is planned for 4 – 5 p.m. Jan. 2, 2014. The receptions features an Egyptian heritage display, traditional dishes, music and documentaries. More information about the event is online at llgroup411.wix.com/ecenjmcl-1.

The Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library System is located at 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville.
