Carol Chamberlain to receive Gepna Women’s Award

The Greater Eldridge Park Neighborhood Association plans to host the first Gepna Women Award ceremony on March 30, at 5:30 p.m. at the Willis Greenhouses, 1253 Lawrence Road in Lawrenceville.

The theme of the ceremony will be “Empowering Women – Empowering Humanity: Picture It!” The event will honor Gepna recipient Carol Chamberlain, Director of the Lawrence Township Health Department.

Carol acts as the chairperson of the Lawrence Alcohol and Drug Alliance and the staff liaison to the Health Advisory Board. She is a member of the Lawrence Township Public Safety Advisory Committee, The Mercer County Health Officers Association, The NewJersey Health Officers Association, and Vice President of the Greater Mercer Public Health Partnership. Carol volunteers at the Hamilton Area YMCA where she co-chairs the Chronic Disease Prevention committee.
