During the month of October, Brighton Collectibles in Quaker Bridge Mall joined forces with St. Francis Medical Center to support its breast cancer program.

Brighton donated a portion of its proceeds from the limited edition 2013 Power of Pink bracelet to the medical center’s “Are You At Risk” program.

The store donates $10 from the sale of every $60 bracelet. Brighton Collectibles representatives Jennifer Wills and Kylie Bitner presented a 1,000.80 check to hospital staff at at recent breast cancer event.

The founders of the Brighton Corporation have a deep commitment to empowering families through supporting the health of women and generously support a variety of charities including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The company has donated nearly $7 million to date.

St. Francis Medical Center’s “Are You At Risk” cancer program is the result of a continuing partnership with Susan G. Komen since April 2008. This partnership has resulted in community based education for 750 and mammography for 1050 Trenton women who would otherwise not have access to these services.

The program’s two goals are to promote breast health awareness and provide screening mammography to medically underserved and minority women in the greater Trenton community.
