Hamilton company awarded federal cabling contract

Hamilton-based company Northeast Communications Group announced it has been awarded a federal telecommunications cabling contract by the U.S. General Services Administration Aug. 13.

GSA is a federal agency offering private sector professional services, equipment, supplies, telecommunications, and information technology to government organizations and the military throughout the United States.

The GSA contract includes a full-line of communication wiring installation and related services. It also includes a full-line of nearly 1,200 commonly used telecommunication products which will be made available to governmental entities utilizing this contract.

The initial five-year contract award became effective Aug. 11 and has three additional five year options. Northeast Communications Group’s GSA vendor number is GS-35F-475BA.
