Julia Coppock and Blair Levin were married on October 5 in West Windsor.
Max Levin was best man for his sister. Megan Coppock was maid of honor for her sister-in-law. Both are graduates of High School South. Laura Jean Ridge, a 2002 graduate of High School North, officiated at the ceremony at Levin’s parents’ home.
The couple met during Senior One Acts in Coppock’s senior year. Ridge, who was stage manager for “Strangers in Paradise,” introduced Coppock, an actor in the show, to Levin, the assistant stage manager.
Coppock graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School in 2000, and majored in comparative literature and society at Columbia University. She is the general manager for Hotels Unlimited in East Windsor. Her mother, Zetta Zena Newell, teaches physics and forensics at South. Her father, David Coppock, lives in West Windsor.
Levin graduated from High School South in 2002 and studied writing at Sarah Lawrence College. She works on renovations and electrical work for homes and small businesses. Levin’s parents are Marshall Levin and Leslie Levin, who formerly worked at the English department in WW-P schools and was Coppock’s study hall teacher.
Coppock played the French horn in the Pirate Marching Band and Levin played the flute. “I love when a couple of WW-P ex-band geeks find love,” says Coppock.
The couple lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Andy Yeh, West Windsor Plainsboro High School, Class of 2000, married Cheryl Berinato on July 28 in Madison. The couple lives in New York City.
