The new technology curriculum was once again on the agenda at the September 24 WW-P Board of Education meeting. The board approved the new information literacy and technology curriculum for the fourth grade. The board also approved a one-year license for the Compass Learning Group for web-based differentiated instruction for students at the K-3 level, at a cost of $18,000.
Board member Michele Kaish noted that the district is working on district-wide standards and procedures for the new security measure, Eyes on the Door, which is currently in effect at Dutch Neck, Maurice Hawk, Town Center, and Wicoff elementary schools, Millstone and Village upper elementary schools, and Community and Grover middle schools.
In addition, the proposed expansion project for Village School will be brought before the West Windsor Planning Board in November.
The next Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Grover Middle School.
