According to Princeton Police, a repair and resurfacing projects are set for Mercer and Quaker roads.
The project is scheduled to begin on or about May 5 at Mercer Road between Province Line Road and Quaker Road.
The first part of the project, which will involve the milling, repair and repaving, is set to take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and is expected to take 10 to 14 days.
The second phase of the project, set to begin upon completion of the first phase, will involve the milling, repair and resurfacing of Quaker Road between Mercer Road and the Port Mercer area. Road work is set to take place 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The second phase of the project is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks.
Route 206 will be the designated detour for the duration of the project. Variable message boards will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the upcoming project beginning on April 28.
Police expect roadways will be open to traffic during non-scheduled work hours.
