The Stockton Inn in Stockton offers a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 27 to benefit the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and Rescue Mission of Trenton. Design Psychology offers a series of interactive workshops in Princeton to explore guidelines for space planning, style, color, and furniture. The Salvation Army seeks volunteers for four-hour shifts to man red kettle locations throughout the state. Museum

New Jersey State Museum. General admission to the museum is free. Special Pets

New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association seeks nominations for the 14th annual Animal Hall of Fame. Close to 80 animals including dogs, cats, birds, horses, and a turtle have been inducted over the past 13 years. The recognition was created by veterinarians to recognize and celebrate the human-animal bond. Although anyone can nominate a candidate, a licensed veterinarian must sponsor the nomination.
