Insiders Vie For Superintendent

School Board President Hemant Marathe confirmed that the district has received more than one application for the Superintendent position being vacated by Robert Loretan this August.##M:[more]## Marathe said he could not specify which current administrators applied.

“At this point, I would like to say only that we did get more than one, and we are pleased with the number and quality of the applications,” said Marathe.

He said the school board will meet in closed session before its meeting on Tuesday, February 13, and will be able to make the applicants’ names public that night.
