Princeton Senior Resource Center’s “Beat the Heat” Movie Series for Seniors is set to begin July 10.
Movies scheduled to be screened at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Suzanne Patterson Building, 45 Stockton St., Princeton.
The movie series is free and include popcorn and air-conditioning.

The series kicks off with Star Trek on July 10. The prequel to Star Trek: Into Darkness, which premiered in May, this film features the young crew’s maiden voyage on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Hyde Park on Hudson is set for July 17. Bill Murray plays President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as he and his wife, Eleanor, hosted the King and Queen of England for a weekend at the Roosevelt home at Hyde Park on Hudson in 1939. Story is told through the eyes of Daisy, Franklin’s neighbor and intimate.
Sound Of Music: Sing-along is set for July 24. Movie-goers can follow along as words scroll on the bottom of the screen.
Anna Karenina is set for July 31. Keira Knightly and Jude Law star in this classic love story set in 1874 Russia.
Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away is set for August 7. The acrobats and dancers of the world-famous Cirque Du Soleil show off their mastery in this compilation of acts from seven Las Vegas shows; O, Kà, Mystère, Criss Angel Believe, Zumanity, Viva Elvis and The Beatles: Love.
Les Miserables is set for August 14. This movie version of the Victor Hugo classic won Anne Hathaway an Oscar. Jean Valjean -an ex-convict once imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread- breaks parole and is hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert. Valjean adopts a new identity and prospers as a factory owner. When he agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever. The films length is two hours and 38 minutes.
Robot and Frank is set for August 21. Set in the future, Frank is an aging curmudgeon with a love for books. His only friend is the librarian, until his grown-up kids install a caretaker robot to care for him and an unlikely friendship begins.
Promised Land is set for August 28. Matt Damon, Jon Krasinski and Frances McDormand star in this film about the people of rural McKinley, who are faced with the difficult choice of selling the drilling rights to their properties.
