Patients at Matossian Eye Associates voted “Ange De L’Espidr” the winning choice of Lalena Lamson’s paintings. Lamson’s artwork was on display in the Hopewell office from April to July of 2015 as part of the Local Artist Program.
Matossian Eye Associates’ (MEA) Local Artist Program exhibited artwork by Lalena Lamson in its Hopewell office from April through July of 2015. Local artists sign up to display their artwork in MEA’s reception areas for a three month period. This offers visual interest for patients and exposure for local artists.
As part of the Local Artist Program, a People’s Choice Award selection takes place to engage MEA patients with the artwork. Ballots are placed in the reception areas and patients are asked to vote for their favorite painting. After counting the votes, patients declared “Ange De L’Espidr” the winning choice of Lalena Lamson’s paintings.
The newest exhibit at the Hopewell office is set to feature artwork in by Dave Byrne which will be on display through the end of September.
Dave Byrne is an industrial design graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. Dave spent his early career designing glassware in Ohio and West Virginia. He later moved to New York City and designed glass and plastic containers for many national products and eventually became manager of Structural Package Design for an international consumer product corporation in New Jersey. After retirement, he began creating a diverse collection of animal sculpture, local paintings, book and magazine illustrations and newspaper editorial cartoons.
Matossian Eye Associates is proud to host the Local Artist Program at its Hopewell and Doylestown offices. MEA invites everyone to visit the offices to view and vote on the artwork.
