Hamilton Dental Associates sponsored an event for Operation Smile Feb. 10 at Bendens Brook Club in Skillman.
More than 300 supporters attended An Evening of Smiles, which was postponed two days because of a snow storm on Feb. 8.
Operation Smile’s mission is to raise funds and awareness for children around the world suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate. Children with this deformity are unable to eat, speak and socialize.
The organization has provided more than 200,000 surgeries for children with the cleft lip and palate. They also train local doctors to treat children in their community.
An Evening of Smiles marked Operation Smiles’ new presence in Princeton. Donald Trump, Jr., who has been on the organization’s Board of Directors since 2007, and his wife Vanessa attended the event.
HDA partner Michael Deluca said in a statement he is proud to join forces with the organization and sponsor the event.
“Operation Smile and Hamilton Dental Associates share a similar mission; namely, to help put smiles on the face of those whom we can impact,” Deluca said.
