One of the City of Trenton’s most beloved holiday traditions returns next month when the Old Mill Hill Society hosts the 2025 Mill Hill Holiday House Tour on Saturday, Dec. 6, from noon to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at trentonmillhill.org/events or on the day of the tour at Artworks, located near the Mill Hill neighborhood. Free parking will be available within easy walking distance.
Now in its 56th year, the annual event invites visitors to explore more than a dozen homes throughout Mill Hill, where residents will open their doors to share indoor décor, outdoor displays, and holiday refreshments.
“Our tour is so much fun — it’s a great way to kick off the season,” said Terry West, chair of the 2025 Holiday House Tour. “Our neighborhood is a special place, and we look forward to sharing our holiday spirit.”
The event will be held rain or shine and features homes decorated with multiple Christmas trees, nutcracker collections, and festive gardens, along with warm cider, cookies, and other treats for guests. Children under 12 may attend for free.
A fixture of the Trenton holiday calendar for more than half a century, the Mill Hill Holiday House Tour is the signature event of the Old Mill Hill Society.
Proceeds help fund grants that support property owners in maintaining homes that meet national historic landmark standards.
With its mix of architectural styles and 19th-century character, Mill Hill’s streetscape remains one of the most distinctive in the region, offering a glimpse of history and hospitality between New York and Philadelphia.
