I am writing this letter to support Yu “Taylor” Zhong for reelection to WW-P board of education this year. I think Mr. Zhong is qualified because he cares about the education and he has a quality of diligence.
Mr. Zhong works for a Wall Street firm in New York City. Like many commuters, he drives to Princeton Junction station early in the morning to catch a train to New York and gets home very late after a busy day’s work.
Even though, he never forgets the education in the school district. As a member of school board, he has had a lot of communications with parents, residents and students. To him, community engagement is also definitely a part of his job.
Mr. Zhong strongly believes that every voice in the school district should be heard. He is willing to listen to the advice from parents, alumni and residents. During his last term of service, whenever there was a issue in the district to be decided, he would ask around his community for their suggestions, and vote for a policy cautiously at last.
Mr. Zhong always stays up very late until midnight. But he never regrets doing such things, “Residents’ ideas are the most significant,” he said.
