The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center is set present a family concert called Leave it to Ludwig.
The performance is part of Princeton University Concert’s Meet the Music series and enlists the help of Beethoven himself to introduce classical music to children.
The society’s director of family programs, Bruce Adolphe, will host Leave it to Ludwig. During the performance, Beethoven appears to help a young pianist play his music as he meant it to be played.
The concert is designed for children ages six to 12.
Performers include Orion Weiss on piano, Katie Hyun on violin, Jessica Lee on violin, Mark Holloway on viola and Andrew Jansson cello.
The Meet the Music series was developed by CMSLC. The concerts in Princeton mark the first time that group has sent these programs outside of New York. Last fall, the CMSLC first concert in Princeton sold out.
The performance is scheduled for 1 p.m. March 15 at Princeton University’s Richardson Auditorium.
Tickets are $10 Adults and $5 Children.
