Cub Scout Elian Rubin used his own money to purchase supplies for SAVE animal shelter.
Rubin and him mother, Adrienne, brought towels, cat food, hand soap, detergent, cat treats and two bags of Trail’s End Scouting Popcorn for the SAVE staff on March 12
Recently, Rubin sold $19,077 worth of popcorn and raised $13,354 for local scouting, making him one of the top-selling scouts in North America.
Aside from his numerous volunteer activities with Boy Scouts and the John Witherspoon Do Something Club, Rubin enjoys tending to SAVE’s kitties.
SAVE is a private shelter and animal welfare organization dedicated to protecting the health and well being of companion animals in the greater Princeton area.
