Partnering with Palmer Square, jaZams toy store is set to throw its annual Summer Block Party and Movie on the Green.
The block party is scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 22 on Palmer Square West in Princeton. The event features activities, games, crafts, food and entertainment.
Along with jaZams, Brooks Brothers, Chez Alice Gourmet Café and Bakery, Cranbury Station Gallery, Kitchen Kapers, Princeton Public Library, Salon Pure, the Arts Council of Princeton, the Doughnut Truck, the Taco Truck and Winberie’s Restaurant and Bar are set to help to create the festive atmosphere.
Doylestown, Pa., children’s group, Lolly & YoYo are scheduled to perform songs from their two albums, Go! Go! Go! and An Adventurous Day. Written by Lolly Hopwood, a mother and musician, and Yvonne Kusters, the founder of Let’s Play Today — an international children’s fitness organization — Go! Go! Go! was created to inspire, educate, and motivate kids to exercise, to use their imaginations, and to take care of their bodies and minds.
The block party will be followed by a big-screen outdoor showing of Finding Nemo on the Palmer Square Green at dusk.
Admission is free, but food vendors charge accordingly.
JaZams is an independent toy store that has served central New Jersey for more than 14 years. Located in Princeton, it offers classic and specialty toys and games to the community, as well as a large selection of books.
