Special Olympics Corporate Park opens

Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes and Special Olympics representatives opened the Special Olympics Corporate Park June 16.

The Corporate Park, located at Mercer County Park’s Festival Grounds, has activities for the general public, a stage for entertainment and awards, and interactive opportunities with sponsors during the 2014 USA Games.

Mercer County Park is scheduled to host baseball, soccer, softball and tennis competition, as well as a triathlon, while other events will take place at sites around the county.
