This is how the three candidates for mayor of Hamilton Township—independent Antonio Gambino, Democrat Barbara Plumeri and Republican Kelly Yaede—paint themselves in this month’s candidate profiles. Each of the candidates and one person close to them offered their insights on who exactly the mayoral hopefuls are and what experiences they would bring to the mayor’s office.
Next month, the mayoral candidates and eight candidates for township council will answer questions related to their platforms. Also, we’ll hear from the candidates for Hamilton Township Board of Education, and run down the rest of a very long general election ballot. Also, don’t forget the Oct. 16 special election for one of New Jersey’s seats in the United States Senate. Democrat Cory Booker faces Republican Steve Lonegan.
