The Reock & Roll Revue is set to return to Kelsey Theatre to perform the show that started it all for them back in 2008, The Beatles’ White Album.
Celebrating the 45th anniversary of the release of the “White Album,” Reock & Roll Revue is set to present 1968 double album from beginning to end. Songs include”Back in the U.S.S.R.,” “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”
The concert also features video and commentary on the album’s history by members of the band.
“White Album” is the Beatles’ ninth official album. Many of the songs were solo recordings, as each individual member began to explore his own talent. The album reached number one on the charts in both England and the U.S. and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Members of Reock & Roll Revue include guitarist Mario DiBartolo, drummer Michael White, guitarist Bud Belviso and keyboardist Tom Reock of Hamilton, guitarist Jerry Steele of Princeton and bassist Chris Grace of Pennington. They have performed together for more than 30 years.
They recently sold out The Band and Music From Big Pink concert at Kelsey Theatre.
Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on July 27 and 2 p.m. on July 28 at Kelsey Theatre, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor campus.
Tickets are $25 per person.
