Montclair State University photographer, Michael Peters, is set to speak at Princeton Photography Club’s January meeting.
Peters is set to discuss street photography in a presentation called Photographing People On The Street: To ask, or not to ask, that is the question.
His presentation is about trying to capture people in the most genuine and organic possible way.
As a street photographer, Peters tries to find moments “rich with visual clues to engage your imagination.”
Peters has done work for Tiffany & Co., The New York Times, New Jersey Monthly and many others over his 30 year career. Along with freelance work, he is director of Photographic Services at Montclair State University.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Johnson Education Center, 1 Preservation Place, Princeton.
