Sarah Anderson and Brian Lorcheim are planning a July wedding. The couple share a goal of hiking the highest peak in every state — including one on their honeymoon.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dennis and Lucy Anderson of Plainsboro. A 2001 graduate of High School South, she received both her bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a tax manager with Novartis.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Paul and Cheryl Lorcheim of Lebanon. A graduate of Rutgers University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, he received a master’s in business administration from New York University. He is a quality engineer with Johnson & Johnson.

Marist College: Connor Chapman of West Windsor is on the fall dean’s list. A freshman, he graduated from High School North in June.
#b#History Bowl#/b#
High School North students Andy Xu and Ben Edelman founded the WW-P National History Bowl team last year when they were freshmen. This year the five-person team won big.
Rohan Agrawal, Can Bostanci, Will Davis, Edelman, and Xu, all sophomores at North, competed in the recent Princeton University competition and the team placed third in the playoff round and was the highest scoring team overall. The entire High School North team will compete in the National History Bowl championship in Washington, D.C., next month.
In addition to the team success, there were individual honors for team members: Will Davis placed second in the Individual History Bee Tournament. Rohan Agrawal qualified for the National History Bowl Competition by achieving a seventh place finish. Andy Xu qualified for the History Bee National competition with a ninth place finish. Can Bostanci and Ben Edelman tied for 11th place.

A son was born to Plainsboro residents Shelly and Bhabatosh Das, March 7.

Joseph Francis Glassmacher Jr., 66, of South Amboy died February 28. He lived in West Windsor for 25 years. While his two sons were young he coached youth baseball and basketball teams and spent six years as president of the West Windsor Little League.
Raised on Staten Island, New York, he graduated from Gannon University with a degree in marketing. A member of the ROTC during college, he served as a first lieutenant during the Vietnam War. He had a long career in telecommunications, moving through the New York Telephone, AT&T, Lucent, and Avaya sales organizations during several mergers and spin-offs. Each time he successfully took on the task of building and developing successful sales teams. He retired from Avaya in 2001 as the sales director for the AT&T account.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Janet; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph F. and Colleen Glassmacher of Stewartsville, and Matthew and Elizabeth Glassmacher of Mullica Hill; his brothers, Kenneth Glassmacher of Fairfax, Virginia, and Douglas Glassmacher of Little Silver; his sister, Susan Glassmacher of Denver, Colorado; and his five grandchildren, Julia, Erin, Ryan, Elliot, and Ian.

Gertrude R. Kanitra, 90, of West Windsor died February 29 at Bear Creek Assisted Living. Survivors include two sons, Paul V. Kanitra and Edward M. Kanitra; a daughter, Nancy A. Fitchelberg; a sister, Ann Kovach; and eight grandchildren, Paul and Amanda Kanitra, Meredith Lindale, Laureen Fyczok, Lindsay Gonzalez, Ashley, Jacqlyn and Brittany Fitchelberg. Martha Elizabeth Barbour, 93, of West Windsor died February 29. Born in King William County, Virginia, she graduated from Princeton High School and worked at Princeton Nursery School. An employee of Bamberger’s, she became an ambassador prior to her retirement after more than 30 years of service.
Barbour was active with the First Baptist Church of Princeton as the church historian, a Sunday School teacher, a choir member, and the keynote speaker when the Ladies Guide was formed.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Harold; son and daughter-in-law, James and Jo Barbour of West Windsor; daughter-in-law, Francene Barbour of East Windsor; sister, Evelyn Phox Willis of Ewing; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfred and Phyllis Phox of Princeton, Floyd and Hester Phox of Wichita, Kansas, William and Estelle Phox of Princeton, and Harold Phox of Cape Charles, Virginia; four grandchildren, Casi King (Darryl) of Burlington, John Barbour Jr. of Willingboro, James Barbour III of Hamilton, and Dejon Barbour (Harold McCann) of Willingboro; and seven great-grandchildren, John Barbour III and Sydney Barbour of Sayreville, Lauryn King and Jordan King of Burlington, and Avana McClinton, and Parker McCann and Camryn McCann of Willingboro.
Ann Carolyn Savage, 76, of Jackson died March 1. Survivors include a son and daughters-in-law, Robert and Catherine Savage of West Windsor. Josephine Weilandics, 91, of Linden died March 5. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Fullerton of West Windsor.
Anna Dringus Blyman, 102, of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, died March 8. Born in Trenton, she was a former resident of West Windsor. A former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, a charter member of the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and a volunteer at the Medical Center at Princeton, she was a member of the West Windsor Senior Citizens Group.
Survivors include her two daughters, Patricia B. Matheson of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth Lynda Pietrinferno of Hamilton Square; her sister, Alice Wolff, of Ewing; six grandchildren and their spouses; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. Josephine Nicholls Hughes, 99, of Plainsboro died on March 8. Born in Seattle, Washington, she was raised in Birmingham, England, and return to the United States in 1925. She received her bachelor and master’s degrees in library science from the University of Washington, and her Ph.D. in English literature from Brown University. She was a research librarian at Yale and Georgetown universities.
Survivors include her four children and their spouses, Winifred Hughes and Fred Spar, Austin L. and Andrea Hughes, Dennis Hughes, and Hildred and Patrick Crill; eight grandchildren, Adam and Alex Spar, Austin L. Hughes, Jr., Helen Wise and her husband Matthew, Harry Browning and his wife Theresa, Patrick Browning and his wife Paula, Brendan Crill and his wife Xenia, and Liam Crill; and 10 great-grandchildren. Linda S. Freed, 60, of Plainsboro died March 11 in Merwick Care Center in Plainsboro. Born in Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania, she lived in Plainsboro for 30 years.
A graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in French, she was the director of educational staffing for International Schools Services of West Windsor.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Larry Freed; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cassandra of East Windsor; a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Robert Pouria of Franklin Park; her mother, Eva Bowling of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; a sister, Sandra Myles; a niece, Kate Myles of Maryland; and two grandsons, Robert and Jack Pouria.
