Births

The University Medical Center at Princeton has announced the following births:

A daughter was born to Plainsboro residents Katherine Joy and Alberto Gregory Benedicto, May 31.

A son was born to Plainsboro residents Sanchita Jain and Ritwick Agrawal of Plainsboro, May 22.

Deaths

Sean Joseph Kehler, 41, of West Windsor died May 22. Born in Houston, Texas, he lived in West Windsor for 35 years. A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1988, he received a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and a master’s degree from Lehigh University.

Active in the community, he volunteered time to the emergency service organizations within the township. Kehler held various positions throughout his 24 year tenure with the “Twin W” First Aid Squad including five years serving as chief. He was also a volunteer firefighter and Life Member of the Princeton Junction Volunteer Fire Company.

Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Patricia Kehler; his sister and brother-in-law, Kerry Kehler and Michael Yeh; and nieces Erin and Emily Yeh, all of West Windsor.

A memorial mass was held on May 28 at Saint David the King Church. Billie Wheeler Farmer, 84, died May 15. Survivors include grandchildren, Rachel and Robert Huselid of Princeton Junction.

Lina Ferraro, 92, of Freehold Township died May 25. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Peter Hanos of Princeton Junction.

Mary Donna Wasilewski, 89, died May 27, in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. She was a longtime resident of West Windsor.

She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a master’s degree in social work from Catholic University. Ferraro was a medical social worker for the State of New Jersey’s Department of Welfare, and was at the forefront of in-home patient kidney dialysis treatments with Helene Fuld Hospital. She also worked for the Red Cross and military service hospitals.

Survivors include her children, Margaret Wasilewski and her spouse, Maureen Fitzpatrick, of Arlington, Massachusetts, Rose Gannon and her husband, Paul of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Mary Roberts and her husband, George, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, and Charles Wasilewski and his wife, Katherine, of Basking Ridge; six grandchildren, Leigh and Ryan Wasilewski, Joan Donna Gannon, Monica and Susan Roberts, and Christopher Wasilewski; three siblings, Frances Laut of Silver Spring, Maryland, Thomas Becker of Hanover, Pennsylvania, and Eleanor Becker of Washington, D.C.

Iris Euphenia Scipio, 78, of Trenton died May 27. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Leslye and Fatima Scipio of Plainsboro.

Lillian C. Inverso, 81, of Hamilton died May 28 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Francis Hospital. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Denise Inverso of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Francis Medical Center, 601 Hamilton Avenue, Sixth Floor, Trenton 08629.

Theodore Stewart, 88, of Monroe Township died May 29. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Mary P. and Steven Johnson of Plainsboro.

Florence Ann Fliegelman died May 31. Survivors include her children, David and Nancy Mann of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the Bennett Cancer Center, Stamford Hospital, or Congregation Agudath Shalom.

Arnold Cooper, 81, of Fords died June 4. Survivors include a daughter, Robyn Lyon of Plainsboro.
