Directors Amy DeCesare and Roni Wilityer have worked hard to create a studio environment that is warm and inviting.

At The Dance Corner, children acquire a solid foundation in dance as well as flourish as individuals. Challenging, jam packed high energy classes, motivated teachers and individual or semi-private coaching sessions have strengthened the bond between the students and The Dance Corner staff. Students consider The Dance Corner their second home.

A wonderful tribute to this fact is the vast number of students, who after completing college, return to The Dance Corner to take class again. Whether or not a professional career is the goal, the directors encourage and guide the dancers to help them reach their full potential.

The Dance Corner provides many performing opportunities for the budding dancer with The West Windsor Plainsboro Dance Company and The Elite Competition Teams. The directors also care very deeply about giving back and have established a scholarship fund that has been awarding dance scholarships to at-risk youth in the surrounding communities for many years. They strive to have a positive impact on those in need and to make a difference in a child’s life.

As The Dance Corner opens its doors for the eleventh year of operation, exciting changes are evident with a new logo, a redesigned website, wifi availability and the convenience of online registration. The Dance Corner has expanded its variety of class offerings for children and adults. New teachers have been added to complement its already talented staff.

The Dance Corner has added pre-hip hop and pre-hip hop/tumbling for children 4-7 years to supplement the traditional favorites of pre-ballet/tap/jazz offerings.

An innovative class for older children, contemporary lyrical, was added to the ever popular jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, and street jazz classes.

New classes for adults during the daytime and evening hours have been added. Offerings include stretch & flexibility, strength & conditioning, lyrical, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, senior tap and flamenco.

The Dance Corner’s Open House/Registration will be on Wednesday, August 31 from 5-8 p.m.
