Shoplifting Arrests. Lukasz Zdunek, 24, of Lawrenceville was arrested September 26 on a shoplifting charge at Home Depot in the Nassau Park shopping center. According to police, Zdunek attempted to steal Diablo saw blades valued at $86 by concealing them between several bags of tile grout he was purchasing.
Brittany Whittaker, 19, and Courtney L. Soyka were arrested September 27 at Walmart in the Nassau Park shopping center on shoplifting charges. Police said the women left the store with two webcams and various hygiene products and were detained by store employees.
Barbara S. Coleman, 47, of Monmouth Junction was arrested September 24 at Target on a shoplifting charge at the Nassau Park shopping center. According to police, Coleman left the store with clothing valued at $271 and was apprehended by a Target loss prevention officer.
Purse Taken. A purse belonging to a Princeton Junction resident was stolen from the parking lot at Walmart on September 22. The victim accidentally left her purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot and returned a short time later to find that it had been stolen. The bag contained cash, a cell phone, and gift certificates valued at $871 total.
DWI Arrests. Whitney R. Fergusen, 20, of Robbinsville was arrested October 2 on a drunk driving charge. According to police, Fergusen was stopped on Route 1 south at Quakerbridge Road for speeding and was found to be intoxicated.
Richard M. Wood, 23, of Hamilton was arrested on September 24 on a drunk driving charge. Police said Wood was stopped on Carnegie Center Boulevard for speeding and a broken brake light and was found to be intoxicated.
