Pennington Players has auditions for “The Musical of Musicals: The Musical,” Wednesday, June 10, 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday, June 13, 1 to 3 p.m., in the CM Building at Mercer County Community College. Mercer College offers an Irish Heritage Series featuring “The History of Ireland” from Tuesdays, June 2 to July 7, six sessions, $120; and “Irish Culture” from Tuesdays, July 14 to August 11, five sessions, $100. South Brunswick Arts Commission is accepting submissions for “South Brunswick: In and Around,” a juried exhibit at the gallery in the municipal building, from July 7 to September 30. Open to New Jersey artists in all media, including photography, sculpture, and crafts. Submit up to three images in jpg format on a CD or by E-mail at arts@sbtnj.net. No fee. Artsbridge has a call for entries for its annual juried show of paintings, works on paper, sculpture, mixed media, and photography. Drop off dates for juror section is Sunday, May 31, noon to 5 p.m.; and Monday, June 1, 4 to 7 p.m. Entry fee is $40. All works must be original and created within the last two years. Mercer County seeks art by county residents ages 60 and up for the Mercer County Senior Art Show on Monday to Thursday, August 17 to 27 at the Robbinsville Senior Center. All work must be done within the last three years. Submit one piece of art in acrylic, computer generated images, drawing, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, prints, and watercolor. Mercer County encourages residents to enter the 91st annual 4-H fair. Open division categories include family recipes, homegrown vegetables, or creative projects. Family-friendly activities include arts and crafts, animal shows, and farm tours. This year’s theme is “In 4-H, It’s Easy Being Green.” The fair will run Saturday, August 1, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, August 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Howell Living History Farm.
