The building at 43 Princeton-Hightstown Road, owned by Frank Crawford, is being sold. Crawford is asking $4.1 million, or $90 per foot for the 45,”700 square-foot building.##M:[more]## Crawford recently sold Princeton Microfilm Corp., based in the building.
The property, located across the street from Sovereign Bank, in a key location in the redevelopment zone, has generated a great deal of interest. Crawford, selling the property without a broker, says he has a serious buyer, whose name he will not disclose.
According to Crawford, several buyers have made serious offers. One possible suitor could be the Dreher Group of Princeton, which already seeks to build a shopping center, including a Rite Aid Pharmacy, at 39-41 Princeton-Hightstown Road, next door to Crawford’s property. Richard Dreher did not return a call for comment before press time.
Another key property owner in the redevelopment zone will appear before the Planning Board on Wednesday, July 25. Schlumberger Technology Corporation, at 20 Wallace Road, is seeking site plan approval to add more buildings to its site. The application was filed shortly before Hillier Architects proposed a plan in which the township would try to move Schlumberger to another location, buy its land, and use it for public amenities in the redevelopment.
