West Windsor Arts is partnering with the Historical Society of West Windsor to launch a logo design contest as part of Revolution West Windsor, a new initiative celebrating the town’s role in the American Revolution.
The contest is open to all current and former West Windsor residents and invites artists of all ages and skill levels to submit original designs.
The winning logo will become the official visual identity of the Revolution West Windsor project and will be used on websites, merchandise, promotional materials, and more throughout 2025 and 2026.
“As our nation prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday in 2026, West Windsor has a unique story to share,” organizers said. “This project will highlight the town’s Revolutionary War contributions, and the logo will help anchor that story in the public eye.”
Designs must feature 2 to 4 elements of West Windsor’s Revolutionary history, reference America’s 250th birthday, and follow specific guidelines—using no more than three colors (black and white excluded), fitting within a square or circular format, and being entirely original (no clip art or AI-generated images allowed).
The contest opened on April 20 and will accept entries through June 1, 2025. Digital submissions can be emailed to westwindsorhistory@gmail.com, while those submitting physical artwork should call (609) 751-4061 to coordinate.
The winning logo will be unveiled during the West Windsor Township Picnic on June 14, 2025. The first-place winner will receive a free copy of West Windsor Then and Now: A New Perspective, the town’s newly released history book. A copy will also be awarded to the runner-up.
West Windsor Arts will also present a special exhibition related to the 250th celebration, with details to be announced soon.
