The Plainsboro Public Library Foundation Board offers a resounding thank you to those corporations and individuals who supported the foundation’s most recent fundraising effort (The Mayor’s Cup `Links to Library’ golf benefit on September 21) that particularly benefitted the library’s extraordinary summer programming. The thousands of individuals who use the library’s resources each week join the foundation board trustees in a chorus of thanks.
Even though summertime is supposedly a time for relaxation and leisure, the Plainsboro Public Library took no vacation this summer, as thousands of residents took advantage of the library’s resources and activities for “staycations” and for preparing for the upcoming school year. The library is the social, educational, and cultural anchor of Plainsboro. Donors know that gifts to the library contribute to the lives of every resident of all ethnic, age, and economic backgrounds.
