My wife ( 70+ ) and I ( 75+ ) are from Mumbai, India. Presently we are in Plainsboro to spend summer holidays with my son and his family.
I read Euna Kwon Brossman’s July 10 “Suburban Mom” column, which goes to reaffirm that old values such as empathy, compassion etc, that we grew up with have very much relevance even in today’s rapidly changing world. This reminded me of a very beautiful sentence that I read more than four decades ago in Readers Digest: Technology as yet cannot come up with any better communication system than a coffee break.
