Plainsboro Township is turning up the volume on summer fun with a packed lineup of free concerts, outdoor movies, and nature programs designed to bring people together for music, games and wildlife adventures.
The township’s “Summer Blast” series begins Saturday, June 28, with a concert by the Richie Robinson Bollywood Band at the Plainsboro Municipal Grounds.
Two days later, on Monday, June 30, families are invited to rock out with “The Little Mermen & The Princess Pals,” a band known for reimagining Disney songs with a rock-and-roll twist.
That concert will also feature face painting, games, giant inflatables and more starting at 6:30 p.m.
According to a township news release, the summer series is “an unforgettable night of fun and music for the whole family” and is open to residents of all ages, free of charge.
Another highlight is the Monday, July 21 Outdoor Movie and Family Fun Night at Morris Davison Park. Festivities start at 7 p.m. with music, games and inflatables.
The animated film Moana 2 will begin at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets.
