Marinsky will help lead the district to great places

When I moved to WW-P in 5th grade, I gradually become aware of what an excellent education program the district offered. I refused to let my parents move our family to anywhere else again because I knew WW-P would be place that would give me the best school environment and challenges to grow as a learner.

My parents were worried that this district might be too challenging for me, but I am grateful that they let me stay because WW-P has given me many tools that have helped me greatly. However, after I graduated, I’ve seen changes being made that have transformed WW-P into a district I do not fully recognize anymore. These changes have taken away some of reasons why I thought WW-P provided an amazing education to its students and why I wanted to stay.

During my time in High school South, I was fortunate enough to meet Deborah Marinsky. Through helping out at the library, I got to know what a wonderful person she is and how important she was to the school library. From scheduling classes for computers to writing passes for students, Deborah worked hard to keep the library together. She made the library an accessible and comfortable place in the school.

I am thrilled that she is running for a position on the school board because I know she will lead the district to great places. Deborah helped me a lot during my time at High School South. She knew what I was interested in and in what clubs I was in. Whenever I needed something, whether it was for myself or for a club, I knew I could always ask her. If I needed someone to talk to, she would be there. I have also seen her making the effort to get to know everyone in school, learn their names and help them in anyway possible.

Deborah cares about district. She believes there should be someone on board to speak for students, teachers and parents. She understands the best education comes from decisions made by the community, not just the administration.

Deborah is a retired librarian, which means she can be spending her time by relaxing somewhere. However, that is not what she is doing. She is running for a position on the school board. She is fighting to give the best education to the students, which shows her dedication to the district.

Deborah has 29 years of experience with the district, which means she knows what brought the district to excellence in the past and what devastating effects the recent changes have made. She has the knowledge to bring the district back up again. She believes there is always room for improvement so she will continue to lead WW-P to the top. As a future educator, Deborah Marinsky is someone who I would want on my school board. Deborah is someone who I can trust to make WW-P the excellent district it was when I moved here in 5th grade.

If you are upset with the changes, then voting is important. Voting for Deborah Marinsky is setting WW-P back on the correct path.
