My comments and concerns regarding the action taken on the Grover Farmhouse are as follows:
The decision by three of the five council members to destroy the Grover Farmhouse is very disturbing. It shows a complete lack of appreciation and understanding of the history of West Windsor. It’s time for these three council members to go, along with the mayor and a number of his assistants.
Where was the so-called West Windsor Historical Society? None of the society members attended the numerous Grover Farm Committee meetings. Why didn’t they support saving a house built in the early 1800s? Why is their focus only on the mayor’s Schenck House, which will always be, a money pit?

Editor’s note: Ted Grover’s parents, Pete and Florence, moved to the house in 1953, when his grandfather retired from farming. Ted Grover lived there until he was drafted into the Army in 1968. After Pete Grover died in 2008, Florence moved out and the Township took over the property.
