As a resident of West Windsor for more than a decade, former PTA president at Dutch Neck, community volunteer, and a mother of three school-aged children, I am writing in enthusiastic support of Richard Visovsky.
I have read other accounts of support for the candidates, and the one thing that remains clear is this: West Windsor seems very good at just accepting town leadership that is mediocre simply because names are familiar. As residents we will only accept top performance from our school system, so I hope people will employ the same expectations for mayor.
Richard Visovsky will make positive changes, employ new ideas, ensure tax stabilization, and is the candidate committed to staying close to the needs of residents. Unlike other candidates, Richard Visovsky is not afraid to ask the tough questions, to balance out interests and to push for positive outcomes for the people of West Windsor.
Richard Visovsky is the candidate who has worked in the trenches of the private sector and within our community as a volunteer and tax payer. He will take his expertise to ensure the residents are and remain the focus of our town — not the contractors who simply want to profit from our tax dollars.
West Windsor is in need of change. We are embracing a new superintendent who is committed to making his mark on our school district. I suggest we as voters take this opportunity to refocus on the residents of our community by voting for Richard Visovsky.
I want a candidate who is ruled by his experiences within our community and listens to our needs as residents. I want a mayor who invites transparency rather than hides behind years of mediocre service. I want a mayor who can ensure our town does not get caught up in the power struggles of the select few in our town’s government. I want a breath of fresh air. A mayor should focus on our ever-changing and diverse resident base, not the special interests of contractors and elitists.

A letter expressing similar support of the Visovsky slate was received after the deadline by A. Pisano, a 20-year resident of West Windsor. Among the points made:
“It’s time for WW to change and get away from career politicians, All I have seen though this current administration is sleight of hand tricks with the budget, no-bid professional contracts, and a great deal of money — my taxpayer money — spent without accountability or taxpayer approval. I will cast my vote for the independent team, which represents both Republicans and Democrats and is not bound to any party line.”
