I am writing this letter to express my concern. I am concerned about the school budget cuts throughout the nation, and how it will affect our generations’ learning and eventually, the United States.
These budget cuts will put us even more behind the children of China in terms of knowledge, and later on, finding a job. Recently, our school layed off many qualified teachers because they could not afford to pay them.
This causes larger classes, and more difficulty for teachers to help each and every student individually. Also, we could not participate in many labs, activities, and maybe even some field trips because of these cuts.
The children from Asia will be offered job priority before us, and many of the jobs here will be outsourced because of the lack of knowledge. They are spending much more money on education than us, which will give them a greater opportunity to find a job and help their country,
