I would like to comment on Rikki N. Massand’s article, “Friday Night Lights At High School South.”
It was omitted in the context of my citations that I actually referred to the West Windsor Township code book Chapter 115, which says: “Prohibition of certain noises. It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to make, cause or suffer or permit to be made or caused upon any premises owned, occupied or controlled by said person or entity or upon any public street, alley or thoroughfare any unnecessary noises or sounds by means of the human voice or by any other means or methods which are physically detrimental to persons or so harsh or so prolonged or unnatural or unusual in their use, time and place as to occasion physical discomfort or which are injurious to the lives, health, peace and comfort of any or all of the inhabitants of this township.”
So for those who suggested that neighborhood residents who disagreed with the installation of the lights at High School South pick up and move somewhere else I wish them to always have a chance for a good night’s sleep for all their family members in their own homes and always have a choice on Friday night either to attend a football game or stay at their own homes in peace and quiet.
