The Painter’s Loft Art Studio has opened its second location at Quaker Bridge Mall, offering do-it-yourself art experiences for guests of all ages.
Township officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the studio, located on the lower level of the mall near JCPenney and Foot Locker.
“Come Unleash Your Inner Creativity With Us,” the studio’s website proclaims (thepaintersloft.com). “We offer a walk in open [environment] where you can do anything from canvas painting, pottery painting, fused glass, candle making and pottery wheel classes and memberships.”
The Painter’s Loft offers sand wax, gel, soy, and paraffin wax options for candle-making, with classes available for all experience levels.
The pottery wheel studio—located directly above the main studio—provides classes for beginners and advanced participants alike. Private lessons can be arranged by calling 609-730-4278.
The company describes itself as LGBTQ+-friendly and minority-owned, with a focus on welcoming everyone in the community.
The Painter’s Loft’s Pennington studio offers a broader selection of art experiences, including fluid art, mosaics, and fused glass. The Pennington location is open Wednesday through Sunday, with hours varying based on private events.
At the Quaker Bridge Mall location, walk-in sessions for pottery painting, canvas painting, fluid art, and candle-making are available seven days a week, though options may vary due to events.
The studio recommends checking its online calendar for exact hours. Both locations have no studio or firing fees and no time limits for creating. Unfinished projects can be taken home to complete later.
