In its fourth year, the Hopewell Valley Arts Council’s Amazing Pumpkin Carve is an art-filled weekend of fun in the heart of the Hopewell Valley. The Amazing Pumpkin Carve will run from Wednesday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018 at Woolsey Park in Titusville.
Visitors will be wowed by massive 150-pound pumpkin sculptures carved by local artists. New this year: the artists have access to electricity. Another group of creative folks will adorn scarecrows to add to the display.
Courtyard fun will include a humongous hay bale playground, pumpkins for sale at the pumpkin patch, paint-a-pumpkin craft tent, photo ops, fire pits with s’more kits and cider, goodies to eat, and more.
Special events throughout the weekend include a pet costume parade (Wednesday and Thursday), evening storytelling around fire pits (Friday and Saturday), “Thriller” and “Time Warp” performed by The Pennington Studio for Dance and Creative Arts (Saturday), Hopewell Valley Fire Safety Open House (Saturday), and an ever-popular cornhole tournament (Sunday).
