NJTL of Trenton has announced the publication of Game, Set, Life, a new book by Albert Stark that aims to share inspiring stories of how tennis and education have changed young lives.
The book is now available on NJTL of Trenton’s website and Amazon.
In 1969, tennis great Arthur Ashe, collaborating with others, founded the National Junior Tennis and Learning network to use tennis to teach young people how to be successful leaders, collaborative teammates, and productive citizens.
In Game, Set, Life, author Albert Stark draws on his experiences as a national-level tennis player and his roles as a coach, mentor, and board member of NJTL of Trenton. He shares personal stories from those whom the organization has empowered.
Each story is intended to show how dedication can inspire dreams and unlock potential. NJTL of Trenton says that over the past 14 years, every graduate from the NJTLT program has been admitted to a college or technical school, many with scholarships.
“Game, Set, Life captures how NJTL of Trenton has transformed lives, giving kids the life-changing gifts of tennis and education,” says Ben Zislis, CEO and executive director of USTA Middle States.
Stark, a lifelong tennis enthusiast, is also a seasoned trial lawyer, speaker and author. His past works include Beyond the Bar: Challenges in a Lawyer’s Life.
NJTL of Trenton says that those purchasing Game, Set, Life through its website, will receive autographed copies, with proceeds supporting NJTLT’s mission.
