Princeton restaurant North End Bistro is collaborating with CoolVines wine shop to create “Abbondanza,” a unique four-course wine-and-dine event on Friday, September 11, 2015. The dinner is set to start at 7 p.m. at North End Bistro, 354 Nassau Street, Princeton.

“Abbondanza” is Italian for “abundance.” When the harvest is plentiful, the Italian people like to celebrate that “life is good” with a feast. The dinner will include seasonal vegetables from the restaurant’s own gardens. CoolVines has selected red and white Italian wines from the volcanic regions of Italy, to pair with each course.

Roberto Scarpati, of SOILAIR Selections, a noted wine importer, will emcee the presentation of the wines, telling stories of the land, the people and the grapes. Customers who like the wines will be able to buy them at CoolVines following the event.

To see the full menu or purchase one of the 32 seats for this event, visit coolvines.com/events. Tickets are $90 per person for the food, wine, tax and tips, all inclusive. They must be purchased online, in advance of the event.

“Abbondanza” is the first of three events in a new dining series sponsored by North End Bistro and CoolVines. Upcoming events include “Oktoberfest” on Friday, October 9 (burgers, tacos and craft beers) and “California Dreaming,” on Friday, November 13 (a change of season menu and California wines.)
