5th Annual Shad Run 5K set for April 16

The 5th Annual Shad Run 5K Race and 1 Mile Health Walk is set to take place on Saturday, April 16, 2016, beginning at 8:45 a.m. The route runs through Lambertville and along the D&R Canal and is hosted by Stoneking PhysicAL Therapy and Wellness Center, 333 North Main Street in Lambertville.

This year’s proceeds will be split between the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad and the Friends of Ely Park. Runner packet pick up will be April 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, and on race morning, April 16, starting at 7:30 am in Ely Park. The 5k race starts at 8:45 am, the 1 Mile Health Walk at 9 a.m. and the award ceremony at 10 a.m.
