PCM Theatre Company has announced its 8th season original play, “One Man’s Trash,” to take place Nov. 7 through 9 at the West Windsor Arts Center.
This two-act comedy follows a beleaguered, out-of-work computer programmer as tries to devise a new career, ease the mounting tension with his wife, remain a role model for his kids and hang onto his impressive pop culture memorabilia collection, all while conducting a garage sale.
Playwright Ken Britschge said, “It’s the kind of show that should appeal to a variety of groups, including people who like going to yard sales as well as fanboys/fangirls who attend comic book conventions and such. And while unemployment isn’t a laughing matter, human nature suggests we are all susceptible to not exactly acting our best when in a tough spot. I’m hoping theatre goers will see the humor and the heart beyond the specifics.”
“One Man’s Trash” stars Tim Moran of East Windsor as George Morris; Jaime Parker of Bordentown as his wife, Brenda; Damian Gaeta of Hamilton as Archie Tulane, George’s best friend and Jen Newby of Warminster, PA as Brenda’s friend Sally Klein.
The West Windsor Arts Center is located at 952 Alexander Road in Princeton Junction. Performances will take place at 7:30 pm on Nov. 7 and 8, with a 1:30 matinee on Sun., Nov. 9. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $18. Credit cards will not be accepted. To reserve tickets in advance call 439-9320 or email pcmtheatre@hotmail.com.
